New computer so a bit to learn, new camera makes files too big
But a great evening, fine dinner and wine

We played at the Park Plaza Piste, but it got hot after 10 am.
Good games today. John Marks was our newest player. Others, the Sinnotts, are using the space for games too. We welcome them all. Park people came by too. It was a fun morning.
Next week at Lew’s, 10 am, Sunday, 111 Calle Enlace.
If it is like today, and that is the forcast, it will be cold and windy.
But at Lew’s at 10 am, 111 Calle Enlace, with croissant to follow.
I already ate 5, Chris had 4 … Nancy had none as she is on a diet,
But cake and chocolate seem to be OK
Mine is soggy too. It looks like it will be cold anyway.
If it is warm enough, how about the railroad park at 10 am?
Perhaps we should call each other in the am
Eliot and Jean are out of town. Richard and I were afraid it would be too cold

It’s friggin’ cold throughout most of the US these days.
To warm you up, a clip of the song “Petanque” by the group “Message” from Guadeloupe, one of the French Caribbean islands. A typical example of “zouk“, a rather slow but very catchy rythm that makes it impossible to just sit still.
Get a drink, turn up your speakers (subwoofer on max), watch and imagine you’re on the beach with them folks having a boule!
Next Petanque America Open – wherever it’s held – that’ll be the theme song: “Les boules-là”

So we are all getting interested in playing again in warmer weather.
How about at the railyard, Sunday, 10 am
My weatherman says 63 and cloudy for that day.
Maybe colder that early in the am, but above 50 at least
I found parking by La Chosa, but it should be easier on Sunday.
We are still doing pick up games in the afternoons
Mike has great pictures on the sfpetanque.com web site
