This weekend

So we are all getting interested in playing again in warmer weather.

How about at the railyard, Sunday, 10 am

My weatherman says 63 and cloudy for that day.

Maybe colder that early in the am, but above 50 at least

I found parking by La Chosa, but it should be easier on Sunday.

We are still doing pick up games in the afternoons

Mike has great pictures on the sfpetanque.com web site

Looking for some fun

I went out with a sack of balls to see what’s up yesterday.

My piste is still too soft. The ground underneath freezes and thaws.

So I went to a local baseball diamond in the park with the train engine
It also was too soft.

I went to the railroad park where we played once last fall.

It was perfect. But you have to pay to park there.

The parking pay machine took my $1 bill and told me I had
insufficient funds. I don’t know if that means the machine is broken,
or if the Santa Fe government is not accepting stimulus money
from Washington, or if the money is no longer good here.

It did not refund it though.

So I played a bit, got cold an went home.

But it is supposed to be in the 60s today

Want to toss balls around 3? Or on one of Dick or Patrice
days off ?
